The default generator counts 0:1, 0:2, … across the session, and a .fig import keeps its own 0:N GUIDs. After opening a file with more than 1000 consecutive taken IDs ahead of the counter, creating a node threw "The ID generator returned 1000 IDs in a row that are in use". A generator can only be exhausted once it returns more taken IDs than the graph holds, so the limit is now that count instead of a fixed 1000. |
